Set right on scenic Lake Winnipeg, this film festival has "a screen set up on the edge of the lake and shows movies after sundown until 1am." These movies under the stars celebrate Canadian filmmakers. "A hidden gem" located on Highway 2 north of Prince Albert, the Lakeland Art Gallery and Tea House is an "original way to see Saskatchewan culture." Start your day with a hike along the trails that lead to this gallery featuring stain glass, wood turning, pottery, and other "Saskatchewan treasures" that are "great quality for a good price." Relax in the "tranquil" tea house as you indulge in some homemade soups, salads, breads, prepared by the "friendly" owners.

Located right next to the "historic" Elm Street Bridge, this ice cream parlor is "tucked away just off the busy streets." Kaposvar Pilgrimage
Considered one of the "most beautiful churches in one of the most wonderful locations in the world," the old stone church in Kaposvar was built in 1906 with stones that were hauled from surrounding farms. In 1954, roughly 2,500 pilgrims attended the first public pilgrimage-one that continues today, each Labor Day weekend. The Kaposvar Pilgrimage is "an authentic event full of history and tradition." You don't need to be a member to participate, "you can be a part" of this unique event "rather than just read about it."

Souris Swinging Bridge

This catwalk-style bridge is "ruly a site to see" in the "quaint" town of Souris. Although "you may feel like Indiana Jones" to cross it, this "super sturdy" "fully functional" foot bridge is used by the "whole town" to get to the East side of the Souris River. The Swinging Bridge was originally built by Squire Sowden to enable him to get to his farm lands. Now his home is a Museum located by the West entrance to The Swinging Bridge. Read more.
