Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band Parade
Kincardine, ON

Every Saturday night in the summer, the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band plays their way down Queen Street along the banks of Lake Huron. "Bring your own lawn chair" as they perform a free concert in Victoria Park after their march. Since 1948, the band has performed this service for its local denizens, even allowing pipers and drummers to join their ranks, provided they are dressed appropriately, of course. Every other summer night, the Phantom Piper "pipes down the sun" from atop the octagonal lighthouse. Read more.
