Insure Yourself and Your Trip

The last thing you want to worry about is any financial loss that might occur as a result of a missed flight, an injury while on vacation, or any other unforeseen accident. To cover such risks while away from home, you have the option to purchase one of several Travel Insurance Plans.

Once you’ve selected your trip, you’ll see the Flight Protection Plan that's applicable to your destination. To add it to your trip, simply click on the Flight Protection Plan option when completing your air reservation. Each plan is designed to protect the traveler’s investment.

What is the Domestic Flight Protection Plan? Per Person

Cancellation Coverage

Reimburses cancellation penalties or unused prepaid arrangements should you need to cancel because of illness, injury, or death; jury duty; subpoena; or a documented traffic accident in which you are directly involved on the way to the airport, or if Incliment Weather, or a Natural Disaster (including a hurricane) should cause the complete cessation of travel services to/from your origin and/or destination airport for more than 48 hours.		 Up to Total Original Flight Cost

Trip Interruption

Reimburses the airfare paid, less the value of applied credit from an unused return travel ticket, to return to Your city of residence (limited to the cost of one-way economy airfare by a scheduled carrier, from the point of destination to the point of origin shown on the original travel tickets), should you need to interrupt because of illness, injury, or death; or if Incliment Weather, or a Natural Disaster (including a hurricane) should cause the complete cessation of travel to/from your origin and/or destination airport for more than 48 hours.		 Up to Total Original Flight Cost

Financial Insolvency

Reimburses you in accordance with the trip cancellation/interruption policies listed above if your trip is canceled or interrupted solely due to the Financial Insolvency of the Travel Supplier. (Financial Insolvency must occur within seven (7) days after your Flight Protection Plan takes effect and does not apply to the Travel Arranger.)		 Up to Total Original Flight Cost

Trip Delay

Reimburses you for Covered Expenses if Your Trip is delayed for 12 hours or more en route to or from Your land/sea arrangements due to: Inclement Weather; strike or other job action, or equipment failure of an Air Common Carrier; a traffic accident en route to a departure in which You or Your Traveling Companion is not directly involved; lost or stolen passports, travel documents, or money; quarantine; hijacking; natural disaster; civil commotion or riot.		 $250

Lost/Stolen Baggage or Personal Effects

Reimburses you for baggage or items lost, stolen, or damaged during your vacation.		 $250

Worldwide Emergency Travelers Assistance

Services of Travel Assist, Inc. should you experience medical, travel, or legal problems of an emergency nature during your vacation.		 24 hours

Lost/Stolen Baggage or Personal Effects

Reimburses you for baggage or items lost, stolen, or damaged during your vacation.		 $1000

Flight Accident Protection

Insurance in the event of accidental death or dismemberment while on board your flight.		 $50,000

Insurance is underwritten by National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa., a Pennsylvania Insurance Company (NAIC #19445) with their principal place of business at 70 Pine Street, New York, NY 10270, and currently authorized to transact business in all states and the District of Columbia. The Policy will contain reductions, limitations, exclusions and termination provisions. All coverages may not be available in all states.
